In the planning phase, the robots need to be optimally integrated into your automation solution. For this, the cell planner and designer needs to have an overview of KUKA’s entire robot and automation product range and its optimal applications. The necessary knowledge is taught at KUKA College in the Cell Planner and Designer training program. Here, participants are shown how to select and integrate the appropriate robots and are given criteria for deciding which safety systems to use in the robot cell. Before the actual cell is built, it is first depicted, simulated and programmed offline. In simulation courses, KUKA College shows you how to import your program into the real cell.
