1969 KUKA takes over ARO Germany |

The acquisition of a 50% share in welding engineering specialist ARO Schweißmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG, Neuss, has further strengthened machine factory Keller & Knappich GmbH’s presence in this field of technology. The investment in ARO, whose products include welding guns and automatic welders, may be seen as a logical consequence of KUKA’s strategy to become a complete supplier of welding equipment through growth and selective acquisitions.
