KUKA Roboter GmbH is the unchallenged market leader in Germany, number two in Europe and third in the world. 5,000 KUKA robots will be shipped this year, which means that robot production has increased fivefold since 1993.
In time for the KUKA firms’ 100th anniversary, the Augsburg robot specialists present various new, even more powerful industrial robots. Whether for palletizing heavy drums, bulky packages or filled drinks crates, for linking presses in the sheet-metal working industries, or for handling extra-heavy loads of up to 350 kg – KUKA robots can master many different tasks.
And incidentally, a KUKA robot also cuts a “good figure” at work, as is proven by the “if 1998” product design award bestowed upon the KR 60/100 P.
