Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and develop new markets inside the current world of Automotive OEMs.
    • Available business drivers: Process solutions from our competence centers, digitalization solutions from the Automotive I.40 Team.
    • Business identification: analyze white spots in the distribution of successful KUKA solutions & products; close the gaps in cooperation with the responsible central functions and the GKAM.
  • Evaluate and develop the market of Automotive OEM newcomers
    • Automotive Newcomers follow in general one or more car items of C.A.S.E.: Connected, Autonomous, Shared and Electric. To understand them and their business will be a corner stone of future KUKA success. The task is to find out their actual and future needs, the appropriate business models to work with them and to realize these ideas within the frame of KUKA Automotive.
  • In cooperation with the relevant automotive departments:
    • Identify new market opportunities
    • Set up business plans
    • Acquire pilots, spread R&D requirements in the organization
    • Drive the opportunities to a success as product, business model or customer Project

 

Profil:

  • University degree in the techno-commercial domain
  • At least 5 years higher level professional experience in a marketing or sales organization
  • Deep knowledge of the Automotive supply chain in general and specific to some premium car builders
  • Excellent overview on the actual game changing challenges in Automotive: from “connected car” to “automatic driving”
  • Knowledge on new business models from shop-in-shop to pay-per-production, from e-commerce platforms to plant respectively equipment leasing
  • Well networked within the Automotive Industry
  • Excellent communication and IT-tools  skills
  • Ability to get on with people at all levels and influence them
  • Strong problem-solving and creative skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and keep deadlines
  • Strong sales and negotiation techniques
  • Time management and organizational skills (including planning own trips)
  • Commercial basics: from using CRM systems to project planning and outlining reasonable business plans
  • Teamworking and leadership skills
  • Languages skills: English and German is minimum – more e.g. Chinese is welcome
