Corporate Compensation Manager (m/f)

We are a team of 4 specialists that are dedicated to bring KUKA to the next level of excellence in terms of compensation & benefits management and HR controlling. We aim for innovative approaches that fit KUKA’s long term strategy (KUKA 2020), we care for transparency, fairness and good governance without losing the necessary agility. We think global and act local and in close collaboration with our HR colleagues in the regions and countries.

Responsibilities


Compensation management

  • Lead compensation management project across the world, including job evaluation, grading, establishment of internal salary structures, external benchmarking
  • Consult local and regional HR managers in compensation strategy (pay mix, pay level, variable salary plan design)
  • Implement IT solutions for compensation management processes in order to become more efficient
  • Oversee adjustments of job evaluations and internal salary structures
  • Define and lead annual salary increase process
  • Provide benchmarking support and advice to HR colleagues around the globe
  • Participate in compensation surveys

 

Short- and long term incentive plan

  • Ensure smooth communication and implementation of any plan adjustments
  • Define and lead global process for short term incentive plans
  • Calculate quarterly accruals
  • Ensure proper application of plan rules and regulations
  • Ensure proper payout of variable salaries for top & senior management level
  • Consult regions and countries about the design and implementation of of local short term incentive plans
  • Implement IT solutions for incentive plan processes
  • Establish and maintain HR Reporting

 

HR Controlling

  • Identify HR reporting requirements in collaboration with colleagues from finance & controlling
  • Define HR reports / layout
  • Implement HR reports in SAP in collaboration with IT and other stakeholders
  • Ensure quality of HR reporting figures
  • Control main HR KPIs

Profile

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in HR Management, Business, Accounting or finance
  • +5 years in a similar role in an international company
  • Expert knowledge concerning compensation management and HR Controlling
  • Basic knowledge of labor law principles
  • Strong project management capabilities
  • Fluent in English and German; any further language is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of HR software products (SAP, Success Factors)
  • Advanced expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • SAP knowledge / implementation and application
  • Good understanding for Corporate Governance
  • Ability to communicate openly, effectively and consistently with all stakeholder Groups
