KUKA LBR iiwa at booth 101
From 14 until 15 June 2017 KUKA will be present at the Vision, Robotics & Motion fair in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. At booth 101 KUKA will demonstrate its collaborative robot, LBR iiwa without a safety fence to all the visitors. The combination of intelligence and sensitivity create completely new application areas and automation possibilities.
The LBR iiwa has sensors in all of its seven axes that continuously monitor the joint torque of each axe. Thanks to its joint torque sensors, the LBR iiwa can detect contact immediately and reduces its level of force and speed instantly. Its position and compliance control enables it to handle delicate components without creating crushing and shearing hazards. This is a unique feature for industrial robots and will therefore be demonstrated extensively during the Vision, Robotics & Motion fair.
Lecture on security with collaborative robots
Wednesday, June 15 2017, Bart Al, KUKA Sales Engineer, will give a lecture on the Vision, Robotics & Motion fair on how to safely apply a collaborative robot. He will provide an answer to all your questions related to sensitivity and safety aspects of collaborative robots using practical examples.
So do not miss this opportunity and come and listen on how the safely use a collaborative robot in practice.
