KUKA Innovation Award 2022: „Robotics in Healthcare“

They are already used in many operating rooms and treatment rooms: robots as assistants in surgery or as support in diagnostics and therapy. Robots have established themselves as valuable helpers in a wide variety of applications. Nevertheless – or perhaps because of this – there are still many untapped applications in the medical environment. Do you have an idea? Then apply for the KUKA Innovation Award 2022.

The upcoming KUKA Innovation Award will focus on the interaction of robotic systems with humans in a medical environment. Under the title “Robotics in Healthcare”, we are looking for concepts that focus on direct interaction with patients for diagnosis, rehabilitation, surgery and other forms of therapy.

Be part of “Robotics in Healthcare” Challenge

Do you have such a concept? Then apply now! And we will support you in turning your concepts into reality.

How can you participate? On the KUKA Website you will find all further information on the KUKA Innovation Award, the application process and the conditions of participation.

Applications for the “Robotics in Healthcare” Challenge of the KUKA Innovation Award 2022 can be submitted until January 7, 2022.

About the KUKA Innovation Award

For eight years now, KUKA has been promoting innovations in the field of robot-based automation and the transfer of technology from research to industry as part of the “KUKA Innovation Award” science competition. The competition is aimed at developers, graduates and research teams from universities or companies. Participants develop ideas based on a task specified by KUKA. Each year, the focus is on a different technology.

Last year, the focus was on artificial intelligence in industry. You can find out which concept was convincing and why it also involved resolving conflicts here on the KUKA Blog.
