LBR stands for “Leichtbauroboter” (German for lightweight robot), iiwa for “intelligent industrial work assistant”. The LBR iiwa redefines the possibilities for industrial robotics. For the first time, humans and robots can work together on highly sensitive tasks in close cooperation. Safety fences are dispensed with, new applications are opened up and the way is paved for greater cost-effectiveness and utmost efficiency.
The KMR iiwa is the mobile version of the LBR iiwa. KMR stands for “KUKA Mobile Robotics”, iiwa for “intelligent industrial work assistant”. The KMR iiwa unites the sensitive properties of the robot with the benefits of autonomous navigation. This makes the KMR iiwa ideal for Industrie 4.0 solutions.
The KUKA flexFELLOW is a combination of mobile platform and versatile robot. Due to its versatility, tasks and sequences can be individually adapted quickly and easily in a matter of minutes. This opens up new, flexible approaches in the planning of systems for industrial assembly.
The KR 3 AGILUS offers top performance and productivity in the most confined of spaces. Its high degree of flexibility and precision enables efficient automation solutions for the smallest of components. As the fastest robot in its class, it offers the shortest possible production cycles, thereby increasing output and improving ROI.
The LBR Med is a further development of the LBR iiwa intended specifically for medical applications. Sensitive technology and safe human-robot collaboration are the domain of the LBR Med. Its precision and flexibility make it the ideal solution for the challenges of the healthcare sector.
Robotics is a key element of Industrie 4.0. In addition to the existing core competencies in the field of mechatronics and automation, KUKA also has the required technological expertise to implement intelligent production solutions.
KUKA supplies an assembly process that is based on the assembly line principle and suited to the needs of the aerospace industry. Innovative assembly stations and material transport solutions meet the requirements of Industrie 4.0 and boost efficiency.
