Standardisation and harmonisation of the governance function in accounting
Systematically monitoring and ensuring high quality standards in accounting and external reporting
Comprehensive advice and support in decision-making on accounting and reporting issues
Review of the consolidated financial statements and various accounting topics
Promote sound, accessible and up-to-date IFRS knowledge and deliver IFRS training in finance
Monitoring, analysis and implementation of new accounting regulations, including updating and maintenance of the accounting manual

Academic background in accounting with relevant professional qualification
Extensive experience in financial reporting and/or as an auditor (preferably with the Big 4)
Sound knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and active interest in new developments in this area
Experience in handling sensitive information
Ability to develop training courses and communicate complex issues in a simple way
Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
Primarily willing to travel throughout Europe
Strong intercultural understanding
