KUKA Nordic at hi17

Herning, Denmark, October 2017 – You are invited to check out the smart production of the future in real time at KUKA’s stand at the Scandinavian Industry Expo in Herning from 3-5 October 2017.

Real time at hi17

KUKA’s smart solutions within automation are the focus of this year’s trade fair. In a practical demonstration, the company will show how KUKA SmartProduction can get your production line ready for the future. “Visitors will be able to watch a demonstration in real time of how efficiency and process quality increase when we connect all KUKA products to the Cloud through KUKA Connect, our Cloud solution for connecting production and maintenance,” says Joacim Lorentsson, Sales Manager at KUKA Nordic.

KUKA Connect - cloud-based software platform

Smart Productions with mobile platforms

KUKA SmartProduction is new software, for intelligent networks that use the Cloud for central storage, which provides simple, seamless and manufacturer-independent, comprehensive connection of all manufacturing equipment in the Cloud. The software is designed for maximum freedom and can be distributed over different hardware and software landscapes. The standardised interface makes it the ideal IoT platform for companies in all markets and sectors. At the Scandinavian Industry Expo in Herning, KUKA will also show off its new mobile production system KUKA Mobile Platform 1500, which allows for flexibility in production that was previously unthinkable. KMP 1500 is a platform that is easily integrated into production and manages logistics between the various process stages. The first industrial robot on the market that interacts with humans – LBR iiwa – will also be on display at the trade fair, as well as the company’s latest sensor product, KUKA RoboCeption.

We are proud to be able to show our customers KUKA’s solid and comprehensive robot solutions for Industry 4.0. RoboCeption is a brilliant example of a sensor solution that makes it possible for the robot to see and evaluate in a similar manner to a human being.
