Under the motto "_the path to a smart factory", KUKA is showcasting the automation solutions of the future at Elmia fair in Jönköping from  15 to 18 May.

Presentations at KUKA booth

KUKA not only offers robots, but also automation, digitisation, and smart manufacturing solutions for industry.
“This year we’ll be showcasing interesting projects from across the KUKA range,” says Joacim Lorentsson, Head of Sales at KUKA Nordic.
KUKA will exhibit solutions covering eight different domains under the  “Path to a Smart Factory” banner. They will be presented by highly skilled speakers at half-hourly intervals from 10 am to 4 pm.
Visitors to the Elmia Trade Fair will see how users around the world have developed smart solutions for their factories, dealt with the robotic operation of machinery and employed mobile robotics, automated with sensitive and flexible robots, and many other applications besides.
“With this move, KUKA seeks to point the way towards future innovative solutions that will take robot use to new heights.

This year the company will mark a major anniversary – its 120th birthday. KUKA has championed ideas and innovations for some of the industry’s most successful players since its conception, and today we are one of the leading suppliers of robotics and automation solutions. We will mark this anniversary at the Elmia Trade Fair, at stand D04:26
Two smart robotic solutions will also be showcased at our stand in Hall D. One will provide an example of how a KUKA flexFELLOW-enabled iiwa robot can be used for human-robot collaboration. The other will exhibit the functioning of an AGILUS robot with a 3D perception sensor, which KUKA has named the KUKA _3D Perception concept. We will also give two presentations demonstrating the KUKA.Sim software and the KUKA.Connect cloud service.“KUKA.Sim is excellent for simulating and programming KUKA’s systems and robots offline,” says Lorentsson. He describes the second solution, KUKA.Connect, as a cloud-based solution for managing and analysing the data generated by a KUKA product. It is currently included as a free service for all robots.
KUKA will have a second stand at this year’s Elmia Trade Show in Hall B. B04:19
“This stand is for those wishing to try out our KUKA KMP 1500 mobile platform. They’ll also get the chance to experience what it's like to be at the heart of a 3D virtual industry environment,” says Lorentsson. He extends a warm welcome to all to visit KUKA’s stands and demonstrations.

Of course, we’ll have skilled staff onsite to assist those wishing to discuss their own Smart Factory challenges – everything to meet our customers’ needs,” says Joacim Lorentsson.
