European Robotics Week 2018 in Augsburg

From 16 to 25 November, Augsburg will be an innovation hotspot: The Central Event of the European Robotics Week will take place in the City of the Fugger Family.

The European Robotics Week (ERW) is an initiative of euRobotics, the association for all stakeholders in European robotics. The aim is to bring the topic of robotics to the public and to familiarize people with new technologies. That's why everything will revolve around robotics, automation and education 4.0 at the end of November.

Throughout Europe, various activities organized by industrial companies, associations and research institutes dealing with robotics and automation will take place during the ERW 2018.

The Central Event in Augsburg

Every year, the initiators of the European Robotics Week select a different European city as the host for the central opening event. The selection criteria are both the position and its significance within the European robotics community. Augsburg was selected since it combines tradition and innovation and is home to numerous technology companies at the heart of the economic region of Bavaria.
