Digital Insights – Industrie 4.0, networking with KUKA Connect

Cloud Computing and networking in a modern factory: the Digital Insights exhibit demonstrates what this can look like. Using the example of the global KUKA Connect network, the exhibit shows how the complete information of all networked devices can be centrally collected and processed. This knowledge minimizes downtimes and service times, therefore saving costs.

KUKA Connect allows you to centrally process the data of all networked devices.

KUKA KR 3 AGILUS – the ideal solution for small cell concepts

The KUKA KR 3 AGILUS, the newest member of the small robot family, is the ideal solution for small cell concepts thanks to its compactness, speed and precision. These features allow it to carry out a wide variety of tasks – from soldering to assembly, handling and inspection and on to packaging or palletizing.
The KR 3 AGILUS, shown here at Hannover Messe 2016, is especially suitable for small cell concepts in the plastics industry.

Ideal for injection molding machines: the shelf-mounted robots from the KR QUANTEC series

For the special requirements of the plastics industry, KUKA has developed the shelf-mounted robots of the KR QUANTEC K series. Thanks to their reduced weight, the robots are always able to access their intended workplace. To save space, they can be mounted on the machine and work from above.

The KR QUANTEC K saves space by working from above.
