Technical Support Engineer

You will play a critical part in the customer service department, with a wide ranging set of responsibilities from servicing, maintenance, breakdown support, applications development and the delivery of technical training courses, webinars & workshops to our wide ranging customer base.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Support our product range in terms of mechanical, electrical and software systems.

  • Visit customer sites as and when required.

  • Develop robot applications in isolation and as part of a wider project involving other disciplines.

  • Commission and test applications in the workshop and at customer sites.

  • Deliver technical training programs according to organisational requirements and prepare training materials.

  • Execute training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually.

  • Arrange for and conduct on-site training when needed.

  • Support the sales and proposals department represent KUKA and uphold our high quality standards and service levels. 

Application Requirements

You must have a technical engineering qualification, experience within a manufacturing\engineering environment, results oriented with a positive outlook, and clear focus on high quality of work.

Skills required:-

  • Aptitude in mechanical, electrical and software systems (product specific training will be given)

  • Working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.

  • A willingness to constantly learn new technologies and processes.

  • Good people skills and the ability to detect and remove barriers to learning.

  •  3 to 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Full driving licence
