What we are looking for:

You will have experience working in a similar manufacturing environment as well as an understanding of technical documents. You will also be able to work as part of a team and have broad knowledge and experience of machine tool assembly. You will have a flexible attitude to work and good attention to detail.

Your responsibilities:

This role reports to the Production Manager and is responsible for the mechanical assembly of Friction Welding Machines and automation cells on time, within budget and to high-quality standards.

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Assemble Friction Welding Machines and Automation Cells, ensuring equipment is produced to the highest quality, on time and within budget
  • Ensure standard work practices and procedures are followed such as completion of QA Build docs, timesheet and operation data
  • Follow safe working practices ensuring health and safety requirements are followed
  • Participate in any continuous improvement activities, including workshops and discussion groups relating to quality, cost and delivery performance
