  • operation of the security platforms (e.g. Vectra, Sophos etc.),
  • monitoring and analysis of security events,
  • cybersecurity incident handling and prevention,
  • technical analysis and control of cyber risks and attacks and investigation of malware,
  • cooperation in the operative processes of IT security to ensure the security level,
  • support in the investigation of security incidents (e.g. in the identification of Urachen), as well as in the implementation of measures to improve protection against cyber attacks,
  • development of required measurement criteria, processes, procedures and reports,
  • visualize results for management and IT operations,
  • participation in the on-call service in our service team,
  • willingness to take on tasks outside the IT security area (e.g. server administration, Active Directory, Exchange etc.).

Application Requirements

  • IT degree or equivalent experience,
  • minimum 5 years of experience in the field of IT,
  • some years of experience in working with large-scale IT systems with network, firewall, Windows/Unix, scripts, databases and automatization,
  • experience in Incident handling and resolution,
  • sound knowledge in the field of IT security (threat prevention, SIEM, vulnerability management, endpoint protection,
  • practical knowledge in the areas of network, application, and content security,
  • several years of professional experience in the field of IT / Cyber Security, preferably in the topics Security Operation Center, Incident Handling and the evaluation of vulnerability scans and analysis of malware as well as the protection of hosts, endpoint, network, applications and data,
  • know-how and experience with SIEM, HIDS / NIDS, Antivirus, Firewall, Malware Analysis, SOAR, User Behavior Analytics in large and complex environments,
  • TCP/IP protocols, network services based on them and network traffic analysis,
  • operating systems and standard applications to evaluate the exploitability of vulnerabilities,
  • log analysis and event correlation for operational or security monitoring,
  • technical basics of common file types,
  • ideally good knowledge of Windows operating systems and Active Directory,
  • ability to work in a team,
  • fluent in English,
  • German knowledge is an advantage.
