Responsibilities

You get the opportunity to take part in the advanced development of innovative features at KUKA Hungary. The project, that you will participate in, is emphasizing the importance of open-source software even within a large, global robotics company, like us.
We are opening up an intern position based on a project with ROS, Robot Operating System, which is a leader in open-source robotics. You will be able to work with the OS itself, develop essential parts of new ideas, and you will have every single chance to develop yourself into a robotics engineer.
Either you are working with innovative ways of robot control, or you are providing simulation and verification for series development with the involvement of ROS, you will join a team (currently virtually) which is experienced and enthusiastic about robots, and that will provide you with the mentoring that is needed to kickstart your robotics career.

Your work could be continued as thesis/diploma/university projects, both BSc and MSc.

 

Application Requirements

  • ongoing studies in the area of electrical or mechatronics engineering, preferably BSc,
  • enthusiasm for robotics,
  • willingness to learn.
