Responsibilities

development of an IoT solution in different programming languages (frontend: Javascript, React, backend: Node.js, Java/Kotlin),
product feature customization based on customer requests,
implementation of various tools for faster deployment,
experimentation with proof-of-concept solutions,
collaboration with team members and stakeholders from Germany,
write unit, integration & UI tests to ensure high quality,
software provisioning, configuration management and application deployment tool (Docker),
implement improvements and resolve issues with our CI/CD pipeline (Azure Pipeline),
technical coordination and mentoring of a small team of junior developers (3-4 devs),
travel abroad to meet customers onsite, deploy and maintain our software (mostly Germany and after the COVID situation).

Application Requirements

at least 5 year experience in software development domain,
backend & frontend development experience,
good knowledge of microservice architecture,
experience with Java, Javascript,
proficient understanding of git, Docker, CI/CD,
fluent English skills in both verbal and written,
extreme flexibility to learn new technologies, frameworks, tools and to switch between different projects as necessary,
ability to work independently and in a team.

Preference

experience in working with customers,
good understanding in one of the main UI frameworks (React, Vue, Angular...),
experience in Kotlin is a bonus,
familiar with Azure pipelines,
container orchestration managers such as Kubernetes,
spring boot, Hibernate,
german knowledge.
