Responsibilities
- support and take responsibility for advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions,
- communicate knowledge to the team regarding technologies used, best practices, and holistic view of Azure services,
- day-to-day responsibilities include applying and expanding your experience and knowledge in the following aspects of IT operations:
- Windows / Azure Support
- Network / infrastructure
- Virtualization
- Identity & Security and Governance & Compliance
- Monitoring Solutions (e.g., Zabbix)
- Data management (e.g., storage, databases) & data security
- Support some On Premises environments
- Migration & Applications
- support and further development of the cloud-based system landscape (Microsoft Azure, AWS)
- automated provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructures and platforms (Ansible, Terraform)
- providing, improving, and designing solution approaches for container operation
- further development and operation of complex, distributed systems in the cloud
Application Requirements
- IT degree or equivalent experience,
- several years of professional experience in the position as a Cloud Administrator/Engineer (Azure, AWS) or in a similar position,
- several years of experience in working with large-scale IT systems with network, firewall, Windows/Unix, scripts, databases, and automatization,
- experience in dealing with security resources and hardening systems,
- you possess good knowledge in the following topics:
- Microsoft Azure, from IaaS, SaaS to PaaS services
- Server infrastructure services (Windows Server, VMware, Linux, Clustering, Storage) as well as the interaction with network topologies (Firewalling, Routing, Vlan`s)
Backup (Azure Backup, Veeam)
- extensive skills in Infrastructure as a Code, automation, and scripting tools (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell)
- knowledge in authentication platforms (ADFS, Azure AD Authentication)
- Security & ITIL processes are part of your DNA
- ability to work in a team
- fluent in English
- German knowledge is an advantage
- additional skills (e.g., Azure DevOps, Cloud certification) are a clear plus
