Responsibilities

You get the opportunity to take part in the development of realtime and performance-efficient core services of KUKA’s newest Linux-based robot operating system. This hard-realtime system will provide a stable and reliable framework for all the robots within the KUKA portfolio.

Being part of a development team, you will be responsible for feature development in C++, standards ’14 and ’17 mostly, to provide a code capable of meeting industry standards, providing unit and component tests while doing hands-on work with our robots, all within a brand new system, where lots of possibilities arise. As a contributor to an international high-prio development project, your task is to collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders both in Hungary and abroad.

Application Requirements

  • Degree in Robotics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics,
  • Knowledge of OOP design in C++,
  • Experiences in real-time and/or embedded systems,
  • Good communication in English is a must,
  • Flexible about learning different technologies and frameworks,
  • Proactive and motivating presence.

Preference

  • Robotics know-how,
  • Containerization knowledge,
  • Experience with Modern C++,
  • Knowledge of unit & component testing principles.
