Responsibilities
- Help desk monitoring;- ensuring high quality first line support to our Key Users; delivering routine fixes to incidents within the agreed SLAs,
- ensuring incident information is full and complete before assigning to second line support,
- daily system checks; flagging any failures on a daily, weekly, monthly basis,
- IDOC error resolution – monitoring interfaces and managing the reprocessing where appropriate,
- testing assistance; preparing test scenarios, test scripts, completing unit or integration testing. Supporting Key Users with UAT and regression tests,
- managing Key User to close incidents,
- key User training: helping to prepare training materials,
- support the SAP Application Managers as required.
Application Requirements
- Previous working experience in a similar SAP 1st Line support / IT Business Support Analyst role,
- knowledge of at least 1 SAP Finance related module is a prerequisite (FI, CO, PS, Vendor invoice management)This role is a fantastic opportunity to learn more SAP modules and their interactions,
- knowledge of MS Office software,
- excellent English written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills,
- methodical approach to problem solving. You are able to understand problems, articulate options and propose the most appropriate solution,
- ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative,
- previous hands on experience of SAP would be advantageous,
- able to build a rapport and engage with people.
