Do you feel comfortable communicating internationally and passing on your technical knowledge?
If you answer these questions with YES, then apply now as a DevOps Engineer at KUKA!
The position in detail
In your role as DevOps Engineer focus Integration (m/f) you will develop integrations together in a team using a central ESB (Java/Flow), a BPMS tool (BPMN) and a central MDM database (MS-SQL). You track your tickets in Jira and the documentation in Confluence.
In addition to development, you will also be responsible for the architecture, operations and support of the integrations developed in the team. By building a CI/CD pipeline you constantly increase the degree of automation of the developments and platforms, making your day-to-day work easier.
You analyze problems and requirements together with other IT departments, external service providers and internal contacts. You also use your expertise to support and advise other programs, projects and initiatives.
After your studies in computer science or a comparable technical education you already gained experience in the development of APIs and interfaces and got to know and use integration platforms such as webMethods, TIBCO or IBM webSphere.
You know general authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, Kerberos/NTLM) and webservice protocols (REST, SOAP) and know how to implement them with an object-oriented programming language.
In Software Design & Development you should have 3 years or more experience and know how to follow concepts like SOA or Microservices.
You will immediately try out new programming languages and integration technologies for yourself and try to incorporate them into future developments.
You have the opportunity to join the Enterprise Architecture Team, which is why knowledge of e.g. TOGAF would be desirable.
You will responsibly implement the tasks assigned to you in a team and appreciate the lively exchange within the team in order to reach an optimal solution.
Your strong analytical, solution-oriented and conceptual thinking skills will help you. You communicate this convincingly in German and English - internally and on business trips.
At our internal academy, you can enroll for further training and during your breaks in our "thinker-garden" you can clear your head with a round of table tennis or table football and make new contacts within the company. At team events, you strengthen the team spirit and get to know your colleagues outside of work.
