Project Systems Engineer
Support the collaboration between Swisslog project and integration management, sales and design department, suppliers and client’s project team members and contribute to the improvement of the project benefit at all times.

Your New Role:
Your new role is based in our head office located in Sydney Olympic Park which is within walking distance to public transport, cafes, exercise equipment, bike and walking tracks, and leafy green parks. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Solution Execution and be primarily responsible for the interests of Swisslog when dealing with our customers or external 3rd parties, ensuring that tasks and duties assigned are performed correctly in terms of customer satisfaction, technical aspects, timing, within budget and in accordance with Swisslog’s guidelines.
Who You Are and What We Need:
You are a talented Project Systems Engineer who enjoys customer satisfaction with good technical understanding of Automated Material Handling Systems, Automation Software, Supplier components such as cranes, conveyors, AGV, robots, sorters etc. in pallet and light goods technology. You have previous experience in logistics engineering environments and are a strong communicator who is passionate about the logistics automation industry and is driven to produce high quality work against tight deadlines.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
At least 3 years engineering experience within the automation industry or manufacturing environments
Experience working with complex, long-term engineering projects (approx. MAUD3-15) in size
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Formal qualification in Mechanical and/or Mechatronic Engineering
Min. 3 years working experience with AutoCAD (2D) software
On-site safety training / qualfications
Required to provide out of hours support for project deliveries reviewing solutions with overseas suppliers
Ability to travel up to 20% - 30% and work outside standard business hours if required
