Till Reuter named permanent CEO of KUKA
In an extraordinary meeting on April 26, 2010, KUKA Aktiengesellschaft's Supervisory Board unanimously confirmed the company's acting CEO, Dr. Till Reuter, as member of the Executive Board and as CEO until the end of 2013

The appointment is effective immediately. Reuter has been the company's acting CEO since October 2009.
According to Bernd Minning, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KUKA AG: "The performance of the Executive Board led by Dr. Till Reuter has been outstanding over the past half year. In addition to successfully extending its financing, KUKA was able to set the course for future growth. Dr. Reuter thus proved short term that he is capable of leading KUKA back to its former strength. Continuity at the executive level is very good news for the company, as is the fact that he is well accepted internally."
Dr. Reuter adds: "We will further expand our general industry business and at the same time secure our top automotive industry position. We will drive forward research and development for future markets in a targeted manner in the new Advanced Robotics section and will complement these goals by systematically executing our cost reduction program. All of this will put KUKA back on track for profitable growth."
Dr. Reuter relinquished his seat on the Supervisory Board, from which he had temporarily stepped down when he became interim CEO, prior to being named to the permanent position.
