Product Support Engineer Asia at KUKA

Job Description

  • Technical contact person at KUKA Shanghai in the Product Support International Team for China and for the KUKA countries within the area Asia.
  • Acting as an interface and Technical Coordinator to seizure the technical knowledge between KUKA Shanghai and KUKA Germany.
  • Acquisition, processing and documentation of the technical inquiries and problems in a CRM Ticket System and documentation of the solutions in a KUKA knowledge database.
  • Take over the project leader role in escalations or customer claims to contribute the solution with the support of KUKA Augsburg and the Quality Department.
  • Organization and realization of webinars or workshop trainings to ensure the transfer of knowledge for the Field Service Engineers and Technical Hotline within the APAC area.
  • Combining and routing inquiries on the same topic from different Customer Service department and identify correlations of similar cases to report them to the Global Quality Department.
  • Requirements

  • Educational: Major in electronic, automation, or Mech-electronic with Bachelor’s degree or above;
  • Experience in automation application with robot, for example, robot programming experience, PLC, field bus knowledge
  • Professional experiences in customer contact or technical support and responsible handling of technical inquires within high priority
  • (Ideally) experience in the field of automation, especially with robots and robot programming
  • Good analytical technical skills and structures to easily explain complex technical topics
  • Advanced PC- and network-skills as well as good knowledge in MS Office
  • Willingness for worldwide business trips (up to 20 %)
  • Skills in at least one high-level programming (e.g. C#, C++, Java)

  • Willing to travel for short-term, domestic and oversea
