On Saturday (27 April), Paris will be the second stop on the Formula E European Tour. With seven winners in seven races and extremely short distances in the standings, the championship has never been more competitive than this season. Daniel Abt, Lucas di Grassi and the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler team want to return to the podium at the guest race in France's capital.

Only 21 points separate Daniel Abt on position ten from the best placed driver in the drivers' standings, Lucas di Grassi on position five only seven points from the top position. In the team classification, Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler is also within striking distance, 14 points behind.

With the eighth of 13 races, the hot phase in the fight for the trophies begins this weekend in Paris.

ZDF broadcasts livestream from France's capital on Saturday

After the race in Rome, which was watched by more than a million people in Germany alone, ZDF is showing the race in France's capital on livestream: The broadcast starts at 3.45 p.m. on zdfsport.de. As always, Eurosport will also broadcast the race live.

For me, the race is one of the highlights: a crazy location in the middle of the city. That's what Formula E is all about.
