No points in the principality

Daniel Abt and Lucas di Grassi had no luck at the E-Prix in Monaco. Both Audi drivers were without points despite strong performances in the race.

An impressive backdrop - Daniel Abt with his Audi e-tron FE05 in the famous Rascasse corner.

Even the qualifying was not going according to plan: Lucas di Grassi had to settle for starting position 13, Daniel Abt with starting position 16 - this on a track on which overtaking is extremely difficult. Nevertheless, both drivers of the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler team initially worked their way forward in the race. Lying in eighth place, Lucas di Grassi retired after a collision without fault, Daniel Abt lost the eighth place and thus important points in the title fight by a subsequently imposed time penalty.

Allan McNish

There's no question we're very disappointed today.

Formula E continues in 14 days in Berlin. In the home race, the team Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler achieved the maximum score last year with a double victory, the pole position and the fastest race lap.
