New Managing Director at IWKA Produktionstechnik GmbH

The companys management continues to include Gerhard Eberle as CEO, and Rudolf Schmücking as the other Managing Director.

Grob joins IWKA from the Grob Group, where he worked for 15 years in various managerial positions, most recently as CEO of Grob Werke, Mindelheim. Since the beginning of the year, IWKA has pooled all its Manufacturing Technology Division activities at IWKA Produktionstechnik GmbH, Eislingen. With its product lines for tooling machines, assembly and testing technology, as well as technical services, the Divisions has emerged as a systems supplier to the automobile and automotive component industries and is able to provide complete process chains for manufacturing engines and gearing systems.

With its twelve production facilities in five countries as well as seven sales and service hubs in eight countries, and a current payroll of 2,100, in financial 2000 the Division recorded sales revenues of EUR 444.5 million. Thanks to the Divisions new management company, IWKA can respond more swiftly and flexibly to changes in the market. At the same time, optimized cost structures strengthen the Divisions competitive edge and earnings. IWKA is one of the leading systems suppliers to the mechanical and plant engineering industries.
