In order to strengthen business operations at KUKA Systems, LSW Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Bremen, and B&K Corporation, Saginaw/USA will form the Assembly & Test Group at KUKA Systems

This move includes the merging of LSW Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Bremen, into KUKA Systems GmbH, Augsburg, retroactively to June 30, 2008.
At the same time, a new generation will take over the management of LSW. Company founder Erwin Loewenstein, Dipl.-Ing., and long-time managing director Norbert Gallowski will enter retirement at the end of February. Bernd Vohl, Dipl.-Ing., and Michael Braun, Dipl.-Betriebswirt (university of cooperative education) will take over the Assembly & Test Group at KUKA Systems GmbH in Bremen on March 1, 2009.About the Assembly & Test Group at KUKA Systems
The Assembly & Test Group is a business segment of KUKA Systems. It focuses on the planning, development and production of automated assembly systems and inspection and test equipment for drivetrain components in vehicles. The Assembly & Test Group employs around 450 people.
