KUKA Nordic has strengthened its digital capabilities with a new team member. Daniel Nilsson brings his expertise to KUKA’s Techcenter in Gothenburg and will also be working with the company’s technical sales service.

27 January 2023

Focus on digital solutions

Daniel Nilsson has returned to KUKA Nordic after a few years’ hiatus. He left the company’s customer service department in 2019 to do a PhD in computer science at Linnaeus University and thus build on his degree in mechanical and robotics engineering.
Daniel Nilsson sees that a noticeable transformation has taken place within the company during his time away.
“The company has further sharpened its focus on becoming a leading supplier of digital solutions since I previously worked here. It’s exactly the right path to take and I find it stimulating to be part of this exciting growth journey,” he says.

Knowlegde within IoT

Daniel Nilsson is 34 years old and lives with his partner and daughter in the Swedish coastal town of Varberg, which attracts lots of tourists in the summer, especially surfers.
“Yes, I’m a surfing enthusiast. It’s one of the reasons we moved there,” he says.
Daniel is now looking forward to assisting KUKA Nordic’s customers, with a special focus on simulation, digital twins and other solutions related to the transformation of industry. “It feels great to be back, working with the products alongside a team of talented and good-humoured colleagues whom I know from when I previously worked here”. Micael Amandusson, Channel Manager and Daniel’s immediate manager, is delighted to have him onboard once again. “He has returned with new experience and more skills. The digital transformation of industry is a key area that we are focusing on, and Daniel’s knowledge of IOT and Internet 4.0 fits this strategy well,” he says.

He has returned with new experience and more skills.
