KUKA Nordic is making a major push at this autumn's industrial trade fairs in Denmark and Finland with AMRs, robots and a new operating system.

From 30 September to 2 October, KUKA Nordic will be present at two of the Nordic region's most important industrial trade fairs – Alihankinta Subcontracting Fair in Tampere and HI Tech & Industry Scandinavia in Herning, Denmark.

Two major trade fairs in the same week in Denmark and Finland

Alihankinta Subcontracting Fair is one of the biggest events for us in Finland this year, and we look forward to meeting both existing and new customers at our own stand E 219 during the Subcontracting Fair.
At the same time, industry players are gathering in Herning, a small town in the middle of Jutland, where the HI Fair offers the latest in automation and technology. ‘Denmark is a market that is growing in importance for us, and the HI trade fair is an exciting forum for showcasing our solutions. Meet us at stand L 9380,’ says Micael Amandusson, Business Development Manager at KUKA Nordic.

AMR:er from 250kg3000kg

KUKA will be bringing its range of AMRs – machines designed for maximum loads of up to 3,000 kilograms – to the trade fairs. "There has been something of an explosion in this area in recent years. Demand for self-driving robot platforms has increased, partly as e-commerce has grown stronger and created a need for efficient, automated logistics," says Micael Amandusson. This has since spread to include internal transport within production.
KUKA offers a wide range of mobile robotics which covers the entire value creation chain and perfectly meets the requirements of intralogistics and production in the new networked industry.

Premiere for iiQKA.OS2 and iiQWorks

At industrial trade fairs, KUKA is showcasing its new, revolutionary operating system iiQKA.OS2 – together with the updated simulation software iiQWorks (formerly KUKA.Sim). Together, they create a powerful platform that makes it easier than ever to develop, simulate and deploy robot solutions.
‘This is one of the biggest steps we have taken on the software side,’ says Micael Amandusson, Channel Manager at KUKA Nordic.
‘iiQKA.OS2 saves a lot of time in the development phase and streamlines the entire project flow for system integrators. In addition, commissioning becomes significantly easier.’
Control all your KUKA robots with a single, flexibly customisable and scalable operating system – with the user experience at its core.

KUKA KR IONTEC Ultra – powerful automation with minimal operating costs

In the spring, KUKA launched the new KR IONTEC Ultra KR120 – a high-performance industrial robot with a maximum load of 120 kilograms and a reach of 2,700 millimetres. This summer saw the launch of another model with the same reach, but with a payload of 90 kilograms – perfect for companies with varying needs. Both models offer market-leading performance with extremely short cycle times and maintenance requirements that are among the lowest in the industry. In fact, an oil change is not necessary until after 20,000 operating hours. The KR IONTEC Ultra series is also easy to integrate into existing automation environments. With intuitive programming and easy installation, it is an excellent choice even for companies new to automation.
The KR IONTEC ultra is compact and powerful. With a payload range of 90 to 120 kilograms, the KR IONTEC delivers top performance in confined spaces, making it is optimal for handling and welding applications.

KUKA SCARA-robot KR 60

Discover KUKA's powerful new product in Herning – the SCARA robot with a maximum load capacity of 60 kg. When you visit KUKA Nordic's stand at HI Tech & Industry Scandinavia in Herning, you will have the opportunity to experience the company's latest addition to its robot family – an advanced SCARA robot with an impressive maximum load of 60 kg. This robot series combines speed, precision and strength – perfect for demanding applications in assembly, handling and packaging.
Strong, fast, highly efficient. Whether for the assembly of small parts, material handling or testing - the new, ultra-compact KR SCARA robots immediately deliver maximum efficiency at low cost. With a wide range of integrated media supplies, they can handle almost any task out of the box.
