Your partner for digital transformation

KUKA supports the digitalization of small, medium-sized and large companies in a wide variety of different ways. From the digital customer portal my.KUKA to planning the digital factory – learn more about our current range of products and solutions at automatica 2022.

Via my.KUKA, you can, among other things, check product data and availability, order hardware and software, and manage licenses. Anyone planning a system with KUKA robots can experience them at work in 3D in advance, commission them virtually and optimize their cycle times. The smart simulation software KUKA.Sim makes this possible thanks to a virtual twin.

KUKA supports you in the field of digital transformation, for example with the smart simulation software KUKA.Sim
No digital factory without automated guided vehicles (AGVs for short)! Also at automatica, you can get to know the KUKA AIVI software, which contributes to the versatile and flexibly expandable networking of your production and warehouse logistics. Find out how the AI-based host controller can revolutionize your intralogistics.
The LBR iisy cobot is the first of its kind to run with the new iiQKA.OS operating system

Making entry into automation iisy

What monotonous pick-and-place tasks are there in your production? The LBR iisy can take them on. New in the family and on view for the first time at automatica 2022: the LBR iisy with payload capacities of 11 and 15 kg. With their six axes, the cobots are suitable for almost all production areas. With its intuitive iiQKA.OS operating system, the LBR iisy is ready to go within minutes.

Everything about the cobot is well thought out: the KR C5 micro small robot controller ensures a particularly small footprint and maximum flexibility. Owners of the LBR iisy also benefit from the iiQKA digital ecosystem. It opens up new opportunities through a growing global network of automation suppliers, robotics experts, and software and process developers.

The goal: to make KUKA robots even better suited to your needs, for example by enabling you to order safety sensors or grippers directly and tailor them to your application. Let our KUKA “iisy” trade fair team inspire you.

Impressive variety: KUKA supplies the right technology for every branch of industry

KUKA technologies: innovations in growing markets

Thanks to intensive cooperation with customers and system integrators worldwide, KUKA has acquired expertise in many growth industries. The food industry is currently showing a particular appetite for automation. KUKA supplies suitable robots with the new Hygienic Oil (HO) portfolio for all payload classes and the Hygienic Machine (HM) versions of the KR DELTA and KR AGILUS. They are made for contact with food.

However, KUKA is not only conquering new industries, but is also keeping an eye on the tried and tested. The connection between KUKA robots and the automotive industry is widely known. It is clear that the Augsburg-based automation expert is also setting the course in terms of e-mobility. At the booth, you will gain insights into current and future areas of application for our robots – from combustion engines to electric vehicles and from manufacturing to end-of-line testing.

Strong combinations for the electronics industry

Among other things, the electronics industry wants robots that can handle the smallest of parts, get by with little space and flexibly take on new tasks. The KMR iiwa CR mobile robot fits the bill. On its mobile platform, which can rotate 360 degrees, the sensitive KMR iiwa lightweight robot can access all corners of the room.

At our booth you will get to know the Cleanroom KMR iiwa, which is ideal for your cleanroom. You can also see the combination of a KR 4 AGILUS and the KR C5 micro small robot controller in action at the booth. Low weight, small footprint, high energy efficiency and versatile applications: that is how this duo proves itself in the electronics industry.

Suitable for cleanrooms: the KMR iiwa CR enables the safe handling of sensitive components such as wafers

This year, automatica is providing impulses for industrial production after the crisis. Automation and digitalization are the growth drivers of our time – and KUKA is the ideal partner for their implementation.

Wilfried Eberhardt, Chief Marketing Officer, KUKA AG

Looking to the future and there for you worldwide

Energy efficiency and the responsible management of resources are issues that concern us all. That is why KUKA is working on concepts that reduce its own carbon footprint as well as on automation solutions that help others to produce more sustainably. One example: the KR QUANTEC, which helps to make companies more energy-efficient.

The claim to offer our customers the best possible service is also typical of KUKA. 1,400 service specialists in 50 countries, tailor-made service contracts, employee training and maintenance keep your production up and running. Should a robot nevertheless fail, assistance is available around the clock. Many faults can be eliminated remotely – thanks to the connection to the KUKA RemoteService client. For others, a technician will be on site within two hours. Furthermore, KUKA offers the best spare parts service on the market. You can find out at our trade show booth which of the services that we offer are right for your automation solution.
