Showcase at LogiMAT 2026: KUKA presents mobile robotics in an interactive arena

Visitors to LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart (24 to 26 March) will experience a special showcase covering more than 600 square meters: In the ‘Interoperability Arena’, KUKA and partners such as SYNAOS, WIFERION and FPT Robotik will demonstrate the interaction between autonomous vehicles and 6-axis industrial robotics. Visitors to KUKA's booth, B61, in hall 8 can look forward to a product premiere.

Interactive driving area with partners

Efficient, flexible, future-proof – autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) are the future of intralogistics and can already simplify and accelerate workflows today. From March 24 to 26, visitors to LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart will be able to see what such a solution might look like and how the individual components interact at the International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management. After its appearances at trade shows in 2024 and 2025, KUKA is taking the stage at LogiMAT this time with a new, cooperative showcase concept. Together with partners such as SYNAOS, WIFERION and FPT Robotik, KUKA is part of the ‘Interoperability Arena’. Covering more than 600 square meters, visitors to booth B61 in hall 8 will experience a large live showcase demonstrating the seamless interaction of mobile robots with classic 6-axis industrial robots.

Interaction between AMR and stationary robots

At LogiMAT 2026, KUKA will not only be demonstrating what is already possible today and what will be possible in the future in collaboration with partners but will of course also be presenting their own portfolio. The interaction between AMRs and stationary robotics will be displayed within a 75-square-meter area in the lower part of the arena: Standing on a pedestal, a KR IONTEC will stack cartons on pallets transported by mobile robots such as the KMP 250P or KMP 600P. This setup will be implemented by KUKA system partner FPT Robotik. The mobile robots will not only operate in the KUKA area, but will also be on the move in the adjacent driving area of the partner showcase.
Stationary and mobile robots are already working together in many production halls today

Experience the collaboration between AMR and robotics systems live

The shared driving area is the centerpiece of this year's trade fair presentation. There, different AMR and robotics systems will work together in live scenarios. From mobile robots to fleet control and charging management to planning, all aspects of the implementation and operation of mixed fleets will be covered. As manufacturer-independent orchestration software, the SYNAOS Intralogistics Platform connects all means of transport used.

We are very pleased to be at LogiMAT 2026 together with strong partners such as SYNAOS and WIFERION to show how mixed fleets of AMRs are orchestrated on the basis of cloud-based control software and work together efficiently with stationary robot systems in practice.

Premiere at LogiMAT 2026: KMF 1500P-CB mobile forklift

Visitors to the trade fair will also experience a premiere: KUKA will be presenting the new KMF 1500P-CB mobile forklift for the first time, with an AMR on its fork. With a lifting height of up to 3 meters and a maximum payload of 1,500 kilograms, the mobile forklift is the perfect addition to the KUKA portfolio. Thanks to international certifications, it is safe to use. Controlled by the proven KUKA.AMR OS software and the KUKA.AMR Fleet fleet manager, the mobile forklift is easy to implement in any setup.
The KMF 1500P-CB mobile forklift will be on display for the first time at LogiMAT 2026.

Visitors will have the opportunity to talk to KUKA representatives and partners about possible applications. The intelligent software solution KUKA.AMR Fleet will also be presented live on site.

Two other members of the KUKA Group will also be represented at LogiMat 2026: Intralogistics professional Swisslog will be demonstrating the advantages of seamlessly integrated automation and software in hall 1, booth B41, under the motto ‘Ready for the Next’. And since digital planning and simulation play an important role in this, Visual Components, the KUKA Group's manufacturing simulation software company, will also be in Stuttgart. In hall 8, booth D80, visitors can see how logistics systems and production processes can be planned, validated and optimized using 3D simulation before implementation.

Flexible, scalable, robust

The trade fair appearance at LogiMAT 2026 shows that, thanks to advanced technology, autonomous mobile robotics can navigate independently, reliably detect obstacles, avoid them and create alternate routes – taking intralogistics to a new level.

The Interoperability Arena demonstrates how open standards and intelligent orchestration make material flows more flexible, scalable and robust – a key issue for the intralogistics of tomorrow. For KUKA, as an innovation leader in mobile robotics, LogiMAT is an ideal platform to demonstrate to users and partners how we can jointly drive forward the digitalization and automation of logistics.
