The invitation to the anniversary event at the Augsburg headquarters with around 400 international customers and partners as well as guests from politics, business and society was also accepted by Bavaria's Minister President Dr. Markus Söder, the Chinese Ambassador Ken Wu and Augsburg's Lord Mayor Eva Weber. In tours, discussions and innovation talks, a look at history and tradition as well as innovation and the future played an important role. It was about new business models in automated modular house construction, innovations around simple and intuitive robotics or solutions for the medical sector. The program also included a table tennis match against Timo Boll, the KUKA brand ambassador, or a ride on the KUKA Coaster robot ride. A review in video:
Family Day: KUKA opens its factory gates to KUKA employees and their families
For 125 years, KUKA has played a decisive role in shaping robotics and automation from its Augsburg headquarters. This special anniversary was now also celebrated with a family day for employees. Young and old had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes at KUKA and participate in numerous activities. From the education center to KUKA College to robot assembly: the factory gates were open to families. The KUKA team in China also spent a day together with their family members. This gave young and old an insight into everyday working life at KUKA.

Even more milestones: An anniversary for all
It is a special year for KUKA - because the company is not only celebrating its 125th birthday, but also many other milestones, such as 50 years of Robotics, 50 years of KUKA Iberia or 40 years of KUKA Italy.
For decades, KUKA has been changing the world of work globally with its products and solutions, making production more efficient and sustainable and helping to solve pressing problems such as the shortage of skilled workers. Today, the technology group is active in over 50 countries. The secret to this success? It's the team behind the technologies. And that's why KUKAners around the world are celebrating this special birthday.
We say: Happy Birthday KUKA - and THANK YOU to all partners, customers, employees, readers FOR 125 YEARS!
