Table tennis star Timo Boll has been involved for years as a brand ambassador for KUKA. An online documentation series impressively illustrates Boll's career path. The current episode focuses on the partnership with KUKA.

For over 20 years he has been at the top of German table tennis: Timo Boll. The exceptional athlete has made it from the Hessian province to the top, the list of successes is long. National player, multiple German champion, World Cup and European champion in singles, doubles and team. Boll stands for consistency and success. With his qualification for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, which will now be held in 2021, the now 39-year-old wants to know it again.

In addition, Timo Boll has also been a popular brand ambassador for the Augsburg-based automation company KUKA for six years. With his precision and speed, but also great ambition and a touch of love of technology, the Hessian table tennis champion has a lot in common with the KUKAns in Augsburg and the world.

As a guest at KUKA: Timo Boll regularly takes his employees to the table tennis tables, most recently in Augsburg in February.

Together with KUKA, a multi-part video documentary called "Timo Boll - The Spin of Life" is being produced this year, which presents various groundbreaking passages from his career. This week, part 5 went online, which, among other things, highlights the partnership between Boll and KUKA. Numerous scenes for this were shot in Augs-burg at KUKA headquarters, where Boll visits several times a year. Employees talk about their encounters and shared experiences, for example at high-profile appear-ances at robotics trade fairs in Asia, where the German table tennis star is a very special celebrity.

Public favorite and role model: Timo Boll also wears the KUKA logo on his jersey.
