EMO 2025: KUKA keeps Automation moving

From September 22nd to 27th, KUKA will demonstrate at EMO 2025 how production and intralogistics benefit from autonomous mobile robots (AMR) and smart software solutions. The KUKA Coaster will also offer plenty of fun and action.

With the motto "Get your production flowing. But easier.", KUKA will be presenting automation solutions at the EMO trade fair in Hanover. These solutions will significantly simplify work processes such as loading and unloading, intralogistics and the mechanical processing of workpieces.

Autonomous mobile robotics keeps production flowing

At booth F23 in hall 6, KUKA is showcasing its products in the Mobility Area. The KMP 1500P ensures a smooth material flow. The platform is the ideal solution for automating intralogistics processes. Whether for commissioning, supplying materials right at the line, or transporting workpieces, the KMP 1500P can be relied upon.

The KMP 1500P will be on display as an example of an autonomous mobile robot at the trade fair.

For heavy components: KR TITAN ultra heavy-duty robot

KUKA is also bringing the concentrated power of robotics to EMO: The KR TITAN ultra was developed with a payload capacity of up to 1.5 tons and a comparatively low dead weight for precise handling of components weighing several tons. Whether pallet handling for machine tools, handling of engine blocks, battery boxes or precast concrete parts – this robot moves what others cannot lift.

Up to 1.5 tons load capacity with comparatively low dead weight: The KR TITAN ultra will also be on display at EMO 2025.

Easy to use: simple integration with the right software

The robotics specialist will also be demonstrating how KUKA robots can be quickly and intuitively integrated into existing automation environments. KUKA has expanded its iiQKA.mxAutomation software to include the SRCI industry standard. SRCI enables companies to integrate robotics even more flexibly into their production processes.

One user interface for two systems

HEIDENHAIN, a specialist in measurement and control technology based in Traunreut, Germany, uses the KUKA.PLC mxAutomation interface for simple integration and operation: The CNC control from HEIDENHAIN has been expanded to include an interface that allows robots and machine tools to be operated together. According to HEIDENHAIN, this contributes significantly to easier handling of both systems. Machine tools with HEIDENHAIN control systems can be retrofitted over a period dating back to around 2010.

The KUKA.PLC mxAutomation software enables intuitive and fast integration of KUKA robots.

The KUKA Coaster will offer fun and entertainment at the special education show in hall 7, where the robot guarantees fun and pure action for all age groups with a maximum level of safety: The robot movements can be executed in stages according to the passenger's wishes – from child-friendly turns around its own axis to turbulent overhead action for adrenaline junkies.
