Dual intergated studies in Industrial engineering (B.Eng)

In the International Industrial Engineering dual degree program at KUKA, students learn both business and technical skills. The course combines the fields of engineering and economics, thus providing students with a broad range of skills and competencies.


Study for international industrial engineering

Are you looking for a challenge that combines your interests in technology and business administration in an international environment? Then this dual degree program is just right for you.

In detail, students learn the basics of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science, for example, as well as business management topics such as marketing, controlling or human resources management. The focus of the programme is on applying this knowledge in an international context, so that students also acquire intercultural skills and learn to master complex global challenges.

Duration of the dual integrated studies program

KUKA offers a combined degree in business administration at its Augsburg site. Upon successful completion after 4.5 years, you will be a trained industrial clerk (m/f/d) (IHK) and receive a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.

Your studies will take place in cooperation with the vocational school in Günzburg and the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences.

As a industrial engineer student at KUKA, you can expect the following areas of learning:

  • Plan, organise and design work and business processes of all kinds with a view to their optimal technical and economic implementation.

  • Learning and carrying out activities in the operational interfaces between economic and technical areas, e.g. purchasing and determination of requirements, sales, materials management or warehouse logistics

  • Modern and agile work in a globally networked and innovative company

  • In-depth knowledge of the English language, as well as another foreign language as part of the internationally oriented degree programme

  • Receive a broad-based technical, economic and interdisciplinary education

  • During your studies, you will learn the basics of engineering, business administration and management in exciting lectures and put your commercial knowledge into practice in tasks as part of your training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d).
