Automated Welding Solutions from KUKA at FABTECH Canada

Join KUKA in booth #12008 at FABTECH Canada, where pre-engineered welding solutions will be front and center.

Welding automation. But easier.

KUKA will showcase advanced automated welding solutions at FABTECH Canada 2026 from June 9-11 at the Toronto Congress Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Visitors to booth #12008. Visitors will get hands-on experience with the new arc_cellerate Index: a flexible, high-performance automation solution with a compact design built to support diverse applications. KUKA will display our mobile, all-in-one educational system, KUKA Edu_ArcWelding cell, designed for fast, accurate robotic welding programming, operation and small-part manufacturing.

arc_cellerate Pre-Engineered Welding Cell

The arc_cellerate cell is KUKA's new standardized welding solution designed as an economical and efficient option for high-mix, low-volume applications. The fully-equipped KUKA arc_cellerate cells have options for Index, Side-By-Side (SBS) and Ferris configurations and are ready to perform a wide range of welding tasks, offering extreme flexibility for diverse manufacturing needs. The pre-engineered cells are easily installed and provide repeatable, reliable automation that enhances productivity, quality and versatility for a variety of welding applications.

Advanced Welding Camera

Through a live welding demonstration, KUKA will digitalize the robotic cell, enabling a real-time capture and processing of operational data. This data is displayed through the advanced imaging systems designed by Xiris, a vertically integrated machine vision company for welding applications. The welding cameras, mounted on the cell’s KR CYBERTECH nano HW Edition robot, will capture stationary and thermal images of the entire metal additive manufacturing process in real time through remote monitoring, showcasing improved quality, consistency and process control for fast data-driven decisions.

Edu_ArcWelding Training Cell

As manufacturers continue to face a skilled labor shortage, the Edu_ArcWelding mobile training cart provides those companies on-the-job training for new and/or inexperienced workers. It also keeps workers up-to-date with current practices and equipment while allowing students to train on the automated equipment they will eventually use in the field.

Tech Exchange

In addition to the advanced solutions on display at the booth, Ivan Wright, KUKA Welding Applications Specialist, will present “Simplifying the Path to Robotic Welding: When a Pre-Engineered Cell Makes Sense” on Day 1 of FABTECH Canada, June 9 at 12:00 PM EST (GMT-4). The session, held on the Tech Exchange stage, will provide an overview of how to evaluate robotic welding solutions, including when to choose pre-engineered versus custom systems, how integrated technologies can simplify deployment, and how automation can address workforce challenges while enabling scalable production.
