At its Annual General Meeting on May 16, 2007, the great majority of IWKA Aktiengesellschaft's shareholders voted in favor of changing the company's name to KUKA Aktiengesellschaft
9 July, 2007
We have now registered this decision in the commercial registry and completed the process related to changing the company's listing on the stock exchange. Effective immediately, the company will therefore be called KUKA Aktiengesellschaft.
The company is headquartered in Augsburg. The entire business is managed from here now that the group's head office has been relocated from Karlsruhe to Augsburg. The organizational changes resulting from the IWKA Group's refocusing on its core competencies have thereby been fully implemented.
KUKA Aktiengesellschaft is a leading international supplier of automation solutions for the automotive industry and other manufacturing sectors. KUKA stands for innovation and technology leadership in robotics and systems and can look back on a company history spanning over 100 years.
