Purposes of processing and legal basis
Participation in European Robotics Week is voluntary. If you wish to take part in European Robotics Week, we require some personal data. The protection of your personal data is very important to us. As a result, any data you provide will be handled with due care and diligence, and will be used only in conjunction with your participation in European Robotics Week. We collect only those data which are actually required, and comply with the laws regarding data privacy and data protection.

KUKA will collect, save or transmit personal data in conjunction with your participation in European Robotics Week. This includes:

• First and last name
• e-mail address
• If relevant, the number of children registered and their year of birth
• Company

Upon filling out a form on our website or contacting us by e-mail, the data you have provided will only be used to process your registration and will be treated confidentially at all times. By registering for European Robotics Week, you expressly consent to the processing of your personal data as described above. The legal basis for processing is your express consent as defined in Art. 6, para. 1, sentence 1(a) GDPR.

Time limits for erasure
Your personal data will be erased or blocked (restriction of processing according to Art. 18 GDPR) as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Furthermore, the data may be stored if this is provided for by the European or national legislator in EU regulations, laws or other provisions to which the controller is subject. The data will also be blocked or erased if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the data, for example for the conclusion or performance of a contract.

Your rights
You have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
• Right of access;
• Right to rectification and erasure;
• Right to restriction of processing;
• Right to object to processing;
• Right to data portability.

Your rights will be exercised for you free of charge.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data.
