Responsibilities
- Responsible for development, implementation, and operation of various cyber security solutions (e.g., SIEM, SOAR, NDR, Firewalls, Cloud Security, Identity Security etc.)
- responsible for managing Microsoft related security tools/tasks (e.g. MS Defender, MS Sentinel, MS Intune etc.),
- consulting, conception, and implementation of holistic Cyber Security concepts with focus on infrastructure projects,
- reviewing current system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements, analysis of weak points in existing structures,
- leading projects for the introduction of new Cyber Security technologies and processing of Cyber Security relevant Audit findings,
- knowledge development and management,
- participating in the resolution of security incidents.
Application Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/ systems engineering / computer science / information systems / cyber security or equivalent,
- at least 4-5 years of relevant experience in above fields and at least 2 years of relevant experience in the IT Security / Cyber Security environment,
- experience with following technologies:
- ethernet and common protocols (e.g. TLS, IPsec, or IEEE 802.1x is a plus, TCP/IP),
- standard security protocols (WiFi, Bluetooth, or USB is a plus),
- firewall or Intrusion detection and prevention; perimeter, mail and web security,
- Linux/Windows OS, AD Security,
- public cloud security with focus on Azure,
- Microsoft stack (Sentinel, Intune, Defender, Purview is a plus),
- experience in incident handling, log analysis and event correlation,
- capable of managing complex-tasks and has well-developed project management skills,
- ability to work both independently and as part of a global team,
- fluent in English,
- German language knowledge is a plus,
- certifications related to information and cyber security is an advantage e.g. SSCP, CCSP, CISSP, CISA, CISM.
