Responsibilities
- Conduct market analyses, evaluate market requirements, and implement customer acquisition strategies
- Lead targeted business development activities for automotive key accounts and prepare business plans
- Drive the strategic development of existing accounts in close coordination with the respective Key Account Manager
- Manage technical alignments, validation processes, and contract negotiations with KUKA customers
- Develop the automotive portfolio strategy (short-, mid-, and long-term) and coordinate with Product Management and R&D
- Ensure content-related, timely, and qualitative follow-up of requested products and standard solutions
- Support the execution of large-scale projects as well as product launches
- Independently deliver technical presentations and represent the Automotive division at trade fairs and conferences
Application Requirements
- Completed university degree (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar) with excellent results
- In-depth experience in the field of industrial robotics
- Strong business and commercial knowledge (ideally with further qualifications)
- Several years of experience working with global automotive customers (Business Development / Key Account Management)
- Profound market knowledge and strong network within international automotive customers
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- High willingness to travel, including outside Europe
- Independent working style, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a team
- High level of initiative, assertiveness, and collaborative mindset
- Decision-making ability, strong planning and organizational skills, and excellent communication skills
- IT skills (MS Office, SAP, Salesforce or similar)
