KUKA parts way with Tools and Dies business unit
Augsburg, June 19, 2015. KUKA Systems is turning the Tools and Dies business unit over to Porsche AG.

Based in Schwarzenberg in the Ore Mountains of Germany as well as in Dubnica, Slovakia, the Tools and Dies business unit has been a subsidiary of KUKA Systems GmbH. Its roughly 600 employees are valued by our customers in the automotive industry for their specialist expertise. The new owners at Porsche AG are looking to integrate this specific knowledge inhouse and to continue to develop it. The acquisition is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.
As a result, KUKA Systems will concentrate more intensely on its core business: robot-based automation solutions.
We will entrust the employees of the Tools and Dies business unit to responsible hands. We are convinced that the Tools and Dies business will continue to be successful and that it will profit from belonging to the Porsche team.
