Angela Merkel visits KUKA at Hannover Messe

KUKA CEO Dr. Till Reuter welcomed German Chancellor Angela Merkel und Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo at the KUKA booth at Hannover Messe 2017.

24 April 2017

As a memory he presented them an individual jigsaw puzzle from the Smart Factory - the biggest connected fair application in KUKA's history.

On the first day of Hannover Messe 2017 a fair round-trip had Angela Merkel and Beata Szydlo paying a visit to the KUKA booth. Aside from the Smart Factory, Dr. Till Reuter and CFO Peter Mohnen also showed them a particularly compact robot: the KR CYBERTECH nano.  A robot with extraordinary performance in the low payload class. Agile, flexible and equipped with a high reach, starring also in small spaces.

As a souvenir for the visit at the KUKA booth, Dr. Till Reuter presented an individual jigsaw puzzle produced in the Smart Factory. The biggest connected fair application in KUKA's history produced both puzzles in batch size 1 right at the KUKA booth.

The theme for Angela Merkel showed her and Dr. Till Reuter during her visit to the KUKA production in Augsburg in 2015. Beata Szydlo received a puzzle with a robot jointing a German and a Polish flag.
