Shopfloor meets IT: Every company must currently answer for itself what it means by “digital transformation”. In the context of industrial digitalization, KUKA relies on diverse process know-how within the world of mechanical engineering – and on close partnerships, such as with SAP. The robot is a central link between the IT (information technology) and OT (operations technology) worlds. The goal is always: collecting and analyzing data and use it to optimize the company’s own processes.
