Responsabilidades

Make an impact
  • Manage the global network security infrastructure. (WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, Firewall, Proxy, Load balancing and other networking components),
  • monitor and maintain the global network security infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability,
  • plan and execute upgrades and updates to keep systems up to date and secure,
  • implement network security measures to protect data and systems,
  • automate recurring tasks in the area of the Network Security team,
  • maintain documentation of the network security infrastructure,
  • process incoming service requests and incidents as part of the daily operation,
  • stay updated with the latest network security technologies and best practices.

Requisitos

What you need to succeed •    At least 2 years of professional experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role,•    relevant Network certifications or equivalent experience (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA),•    good knowledge of network, communication, and security protocols, technologies, and standards. (Including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.),•    experience with corporate network environments,•    routing & switching (Cisco/Cloud),•    wireless (Cisco),•    security (Zscaler/Checkpoint/Fortinet),•    monitoring (CheckMK),•    documentation (Netbox/AzureDevOps),•    knowledge of scripting and automation is a clear plus (e.g., Python, Ansible),•    understanding of cloud networking is a clear plus (e.g., AWS, Azure),•    good written and verbal communication in English, German is a plus,•    ability to work independently and as part of a team,•    strong communication, analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills,•    ability to work under pressure, effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
