KUKA AG is presenting the entire range of products and services for the first time at Hannover Messe

With the slogan “Automation Technologies – next step”, the international supplier of robotic automation solutions is presenting its entire range of products and services for the first time with an imaginative and effective booth concept.

Comprising some 13 flagship fairs, Hannover Messe is aimed at industry insiders from various branches of industry. KUKA has consciously selected this event as a platform for presenting itself to the world from a new side. The technology group’s appearance at the fair is typically “KUKA-like”: spectacular, unique and covering the complete spectrum of products and services.

KUKA offers customers solutions in its capacity as a technology and platform supplier in the fields of robotics, automation and mechanical engineering. And this is precisely what the company intends to convey in its first appearance as a group. KUKA is not limiting itself to the showcasing of technological highlights, but taking visitors on a journey to the multifaceted everyday world of the various divisions within the group. Visitors go through four theme areas, getting to know the company from different sides.

Competence – KUKA’s innovative drive in automation

In the “Competence” area, the company focuses on its automation and system solutions.

In the “Welding Shop Solutions” area, KUKA offers key technologies, from laser hybrid, Magnetarc, friction and laser welding, to submerged-arc and spot welding, and also gas metal arc welding.
Visitors will also be confronted with new ideas in the fields of vehicle manufacture, press shop solutions and tool and die construction. Information is presented to the visitors in a comprehensive and varied manner, from a miniature 3D landscape to a wide range of information cubes.

Future – the age of service robotics has dawned

Professional automation solutions have long since broken out of the core market of industrial applications and established themselves in new areas, such as medical and service robotics. the KUKA lightweight robot is already bridging the gap between human-machine and machine-machine cooperation. The next logical step being taken is autonomous and mobile robotics.
In the “Future” area, KUKA is providing visitors with the opportunity to catch a glimpse of the latest developments.

Sustainability – sustainable concepts and responsible action

Sunflowers are ambassadors for the theme of sustainability at the KUKA booth. It is not just at Hannover Messe, however, that the company wishes to be associated with responsible action towards the environment – it is a well-established part of the corporate philosophy. In the Energy business segment, for example, KUKA offers engineering services, automated process modules and complete, turnkey production lines for the photovoltaic, solar thermal and wind energy sectors.

Furthermore, many KUKA products are manufactured in an environmentally-friendly manner and offer energy savings in operation.
To this end, KUKA, as a manufacturer of state-of-the-art German technology, has focused on energy consumption, lubricant consumption and durability of its robots, in order to minimize life-cycle costs and increase cost-effectiveness.

Diversity – KUKA makes the most of opportunities

For KUKA AG, the term “diversity” primarily describes versatility and openness. This refers to openness to ideas from customers and partners, but also to the specific abilities of the individual employees.

At the same time, the openness of the different systems opens up new opportunities for new technologies in a wide variety of applications. Working together with many partners, KUKA is able to develop industry-specific solutions.

Products from the Augsburg-based company can also be found away from the KUKA booth. Examples include the KUKA 4D- Simulator in Hall 26 which will take you on a downhill skiing run or a helicopter flight and the KUKA omniMove which can be seen in Hall 14, Booth L 06.

Last, but by no means least, KUKA products can be found in a wide range of interesting applications at the booths of numerous partners.
What about the ant and the tube of glue? Come and find out at Booth 04 in Hall 17!
