At MEDICA – taking place in Düsseldorf from 18 to 21 November – KUKA will again be presenting various applications based on the LBR Med lightweight robot. One of the exhibits will be the SculpturaTM from Sensus Healthcare. The mobile, robot-based system has the potential to revolutionize radiotherapy as it is the only medical product which allows doctors to carry out pinpoint irradiation of tumors in the body during an operation. Thanks to the integrated and sensitive 7-axis LBR Med robot, SculpturaTM enables a precise, fast and localized dose to be administered without damaging surrounding tissue.
