Careers with robotics and more: A virtual tour through the KUKA Training Center
Automation is changing the world of work. The KUKA Training Center prepares young people for a professional life with future technologies.
From mechatronics to computer science to electronics in automation technology: every year, around 200 dual students and trainees start their careers with robots and co. from the new training center in Augsburg.
As an internationally active company, KUKA is taking on a pioneering role in the fields of robotics and automation, said Dr. Florian Herrmann, head of the State Chancellery and Bavarian Minister of State for Federal and European Affairs and Media at the opening of the center in 2020. "It is gratifying to see that KUKA is investing in the quality of its trainees and in the continuing education and training of its employees with the new training center. This is an investment that will pay off in the long term."
For example, the new training center has, among other things, networked machinery, workbenches with tablets, robot cells and an IT/SPS and innovation room. The trainees and students can realize their potential here, explore the latest technologies independently and use them for projects.
